The Workshop “2022 Reliability Management In Power Industry”Held in Beijing

March 01, 2022 /CEC/ - On February 25, 2022，China Electricity Council (CEC) held the “2022 Reliability Management in Power Industry” Workshop in Beijing. At the Workshop, it was introduced the key tasks of the reliability management in China's power industry in 2022 and the situation of the CEC branches affiliated with the reliability management center. Yu Chongde, the Vice President of CEC, Xu Songlin, the Deputy Secretary-General of CEC, and the representatives from various member enterprises in charge of reliability work attended the Event. The Workshop was held in hybrid way with online and offline format.

In combination with the new situations such as the construction of the New Type Power System and the digital transformation of the power industry, the delegates of the Workshop put forward relevant suggestions and advisories on the reliability management of the power industry, including:

- Closely integrated with the actual power production, operation and maintenance, so as to continuously improve the informatization and intelligence level of the power industry.

- Increase the evaluation and analysis of hot issues such as new energy power generation equipment, coal-fired power units participating in peak and frequency regulation, and operational reliability after flexibility transformation.

- Focus on the research on hidden risks affecting the reliability of the power system, and actively promote the construction of the power reliability indicators under the new framework of the World Bank's business environment assessment system.

It was also discussed at the Workshop the special topic on "Research on the Influence of Coal-fired Power Unit Flexible Adjustment Operation on Unit Reliability", the 2022 National Power Industry Vocational Skills Competition, the evaluation of the power supply reliability management system of power supply enterprises, and the ability evaluation and continuing education and training of the professional personnel in reliability management.
