On April 1, the National Energy Administration (NEA) officially approved the Regulations on Engineering Quantity Standard and Cost Calculation of Power Grid Technical Retrofit and Maintenance Projects 2020, which was compiled by China Electric Power Project Cost Administration under CEC.
The Regulation consists of 24 volumes of Quantity Standard for the Technical Retrofit and Maintenance, including 2 volumes of Budget Regulation, 6 volumes of Quantity Standard on the Rough Calculation of Technical Retrofit , 6 volumes of Quantity Standard on the Budget of Technical Retrofit, 5 volumes of Quantity Standard on the Budget of Dismantling and 5 volumes of Quantity Standard on the Budget of Maintenance.
This Regulation will work as an important basis for reasonable and effective control of cost on power grid technical retrofit and maintenance projects, as well as a fair, clear and effective cost supervision guidance and pricing metrics for power transmission and distribution. It will play an important role on government macro-control, power sector layout, power enterprises cost control, social engagement, and industry supervision, etc.
