Yang Kun attends Launch Conference of GEI Development and Cooperation Platform

On March 23, the Launch Conference of GEI Development and Cooperation Platform was held in Beijing, to officially unveil the "World of Energy Interconnection (WEI)" platform developed by Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO). This innovative platform is another milestone in advancing the progress of GEI and green and low-carbon development around the world.

Relying on GEIDCO's strengths in five aspects of project resources, research results, information data, network of members and international outreach, WEI can integrate project promotion, exchange and cooperation, resource sharing, conference services and other functions and cover various links related to GEI from planning through to investment and construction. Therefore, it will help promote demand matchmaking and resource sharing and give new impetus for platform-based economy development in the energy and electricity sector. Besides, WEI will also inject new momentum into global energy and electricity infrastructure construction and green low-carbon transition. Focusing on power interconnection, clean energy, low-carbon development, high efficiency and other fields, WEI can offer "one-stop" project promotion services from project display and investment guidance to customized consultancy, publicity and promotion, help projects find technologies and funds and investors find high-quality projects, thus accelerating the implementation of GEI around the world.
