Yang Kun attended the 2020 China New Energy Summit Forum

On September 7, 2020 China New Energy Summit Forum opened in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. With the theme of "Green Transformation, Empowering the Future", the forum built a cooperation and exchange platform attended by more than 700 industry leaders and delegates from domestic and overseas leading energy enterprises and high-end think tanks. The forum aims at integrating transboundary innovation resources, optimizing comprehensive development planning, and endowing "energy" for China's future energy development.

Yang Kun, Executive President of China Electricity Council, pointed out at the meeting that the power development in China will continue to be led by green and low carbon in the future. It is estimated that in 2025, the proportion of non-fossil energy power generating capacity will increase to more than 49%, and the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption will increase to about 18.5%. Yancheng is a representative city of new energy industry development in China which has rich wind and solar resources and complete new energy industry chain. CEC will continue to promote the high quality development of energy and power industry by its professional services in the areas of energy conservation and emission reduction, power engineering projects quality supervision, power industry standardization, power reliability, vocational skill training and certification and etc. 

At the meeting, Yancheng government and domestic and overseas new energy enterprises reached collaborative agreements on some key areas and projects. 22 projects agreements were signed, with a total planned investment of 51.9 billion yuan RMB, covering the whole industrial chain of design and development, equipment manufacturing and operation and maintenance services in the field of new energy. 

During the forum, keynote speeches and entrepreneur salons focused on energy transformation and development, accelerating the layout of new energy industry.
