Pilot Program on Group Standards: First Batch of CEC Standards Unveiled

China Electricity Council (CEC) released its plan of the first batch of CEC Standards to be drafted, which prioritize the emerging areas including energy interconnection, EV charging facilities, micro-grid, DC distribution, energy metering system, etc., and the areas where the power industry crying for standardization, such as smart lock and control of substation, HV circuit breaker cabinet, smart coal-firing system for thermal power plant. Approved by the Standardization Administration of China, CEC was selected as one of organizations to implement the pilot program of making group standards. The group standards released by CEC will be named “CEC Standards” with the code of T/CEC.
