EIA Administrator visits CEC

Adam Sieminski, Administrator of the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) visited CEC on July 28, 2015.

He reviewed history of EIA and shared statistical methods of US when collecting data of electric power industry. Expressing interests of the similar functions of CEC, he proposed a cooperative mechanism to strengthen the communication between two organizations. Wei Zhaofeng, Vice President of CEC applauded the proposal and introduced updated power industry development of China.

Both organizations expressed their expectations of long-term cooperation in exchanging electric power data and information between the two energy superpowers.
