CTG, Siemens seek deeper cooperation on digitalization and Yangtze River protection

Wang Lin, president of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), met with a delegation of Siemens (China) headed by Wang Haibin, Executive Vice President and President of the company's Digital Industry Group on April 19. The two sides exchanged views on a range of topics such as construction of digital intelligent power plant and Yangtze River protection. Wang Liangyou, Vice President of CTG also attended the meeting.

CTG and Siemens, Wang said, have forged an extensive and good foundation for cooperation over the years. He hopes Siemens can offer better advices and suggestions on building and operation of large hydropower stations, development of offshore wind power technology, and construction of life-cycle management platform for clean energy.  Wang added that the two sides should jointly explore further collaboration on construction of digital intelligent power plants.

CTG is now putting the Yangtze River protection high on the group's work agenda, Wang said, adding that he hopes the two sides can seek cooperation in the Yangtze River protection initiative to conduct more extensive exchanges that could usher in a new chapter for the partnership between the two groups.

There's high potential for collaboration between the CTG and Siemens as CTG expands its business presence, said Wang Haibin from Siemens, adding that the two parties will achieve mutual development in the future by aligning their cooperation with the strategic positioning of CTG.
