On the morning of September 11, the Opening Ceremony of the 13th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit (CABIS) was held in Nanning, Guangxi, with senior leaders of China and ASEAN countries present. Themed “jointly building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Forging an Even Closer China-ASEAN Community of Common Destiny”, this year’s expo and summit will last four days. There are 2,669 companies participating in the event. Altogether 34 high-level forums will be held, reaching a new height in terms of both scale and level.

Li Qingkui, Board Chairman of CSG, attended the opening ceremony upon invitation. After that, Li Qingkui and Chen Gang, Vice Chairman of the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, went to the power supply center of Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center to express their regards to the staff there, requiring that the power supply during the event should be 100% guaranteed. Attaching great importance to the power supply during the two conferences, CSG took top-grade measures to ensure power supply. Guangxi Power Grid Company and EHV Power Transmission Company worked out a comprehensive plan in advance to ensure the power supply.

Li and Chen also visited the stand of CSG. The company actively promotes power grids interconnection, power trade and power source development with Hong Kong, Macao and ASEAN countries such as Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. As the CAEXPO is an important platform for CSG to enhance communication and cooperation with power grid companies from ASEAN countries, CSG has participated in the event for years. This year’s theme of CSG is to “Connect the Electric Power Silk Road and Light up Every Household along the Way.” ”.

Before the opening ceremony, Li Qingkui also attended other relevant important activities. Representatives of the Administration Office, Planning and Development Department and International Cooperation Department of CSG, CSG International Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Power Grid Company attended related activities.
