The Kunliulong DC Transmission Line Project has recently entered its key stage of testing with more than 50% of the bipolar system testing involving Kunbei and Longmen Converter Stations reaching completion.
Key technologies including the VSC-HVDC and LCC-HVDC hybrid system have passed all tests with flying colors.
By July 16, the Kunliulong DC Transmission Line Project witnessed more than 0.1 TWh of power transmitted from the Wudongde Hydropower Station ... and on July 17, the high-end converter transformers were installed and tested at Pole 2 of the Kunbei Converter Station.
