12 years’ reform and development generates benefits, Guangdong Power Grid business increases 2 times

Guangdong Power Grid held its 2015 Working meeting and the 2nd Fourth Session of Staff Representative Meeting on 2, March, 2015. Updates disclosed from the meeting are encouraging: Guangdong Power Grid made headway in both management and benefits in 2014.

Guangdong Power Grid has committed to its pledge of ensuring maintenance and appreciation of state-owned assets and its quality service mission ever since the founding of the parent company in 2002. Guangdong Power Grid has been increasing investment on and maintenance of power grid and reducing SAIDI for clients, and therefore, the company has propelled the social and economic development of the province and the improvement of people’s livelihood. The figures are self-evident:

Power sale: Increased from 141.258 TWH in 2002 to 471.915 TWH in 2014, representing 234% growth

Business revenue: increased from RMB 80.2 billion in 2002 to RMB 311.3 billion in 2014, representing 288% growth

Total assets: increased from RMB117.9 billion in 2002 to RMB 282.7 billion in 2014, showing 140% increase

For five consecutive years, Guangdong Power Grid ranked top in the country in the number of gold award received in power reliability, for six consecutive years, Guangdong Power Grid ranked top as utility service provider in overall customer satisfaction.
