Cao Peixi and Guo Junming met with Chairman and CEO of Fairfax

On June 18th, President of China Huaneng Group Mr. Cao Peixi, and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Guo Junming, met with Mr. Prem Watsa, Chairman and CEO of Canada-based Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited. Both parties exchanged opinions on further strengthening cooperation and deepening relationship.

Cao Peixi briefly introduced the latest development of the Huaneng. He said, Huaneng has established good partnership with Fairfax in the financial business. And the joint venture between the two parties, Alltrust Insurance Co., Ltd. has achieved excellent performance, thanks to the great support and assistance from Fairfax. Huaneng hopes to further expand the scope of cooperation with Fairfax.

Prem Watsa expressed his gratitude to Huaneng for the continuous trust and support for Fairfax. He said, Fairfax is willing to provide Huaneng with more information and services regarding insurance, investment opportunities, and financial consulting, etc. Fairfax hopes to strengthen cooperation with Huaneng, based on the complementary advantages and mutual benefits of both parties.
