Premier Li Keqiang witnesses the agreement signing between China Huaneng Group and Enel
On June 11, witnessed by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, President of China Huaneng Group Mr. Cao Peixi and Enel CEO Mr. Francesco Starace signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement between China Huaneng Group and Enel in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
According to the agreement, both parties will actively explore cooperation in the fields of technology development, power project development, corporate management research, and carbon assets management etc., on the principle of mutual benefits and common development.
Before signing the agreement, President Cao Peixi and Vice President Sun Zhiyong of China Huaneng Group met with Enel CEO Francesco Starace at Huaneng headquarters, exchanging opinions on deepening exchanges and cooperation of the two companies in the energy sector, and jointly promoting green and sustainable development of the industry.
