Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant Winning the Honorary Title of “100 Classic & ChoiceProjects” Released in Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of New China

“100 Classic Choice Projects” Released in Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of New China——Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant On October 29, 2009, a press conference was held ceremoniously in the Great Hall of the People to release the “100 Classic Choice Projects” in celebration of the 60th anniversary of New China, an activity jointly held by China Construction Industry Association in cooperation with 11 other associations.

Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant is included in the list as the only thermal power generation project. This is one more honor won by the project in addition to other national-level honors, including the “1st Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress” in 2007, the “National Gold Award for High-Quality Project” and the “National Environmentally-Friendly Project”, both in 2008.
