9 Projects of Huaneng Winning 2008 Award for High-Quality Power Projects of China

Recently, China Electric Power Construction Association released a list of the 49 projects that won the 2008 Award for High-Quality Power Projects of China. 9 projects of China Huaneng Group, including phase 1 of Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant (2×1000 MW) are among the winners.

In 2007, China Huaneng Group improved its management regime for engineering construction, focused on the crucial links related to the production of key projects, including safety, quality, cost and progress,continuously optimized engineering design, further lowered construction cost, continuously enhanced the management of engineering construction and improved construction quality and investment returns, thus achieving good results in engineering construction. The successful construction and operation of these projects have not only effectively elevated the image of Huaneng, but also pushed China’s manufacturing power equipment, construction of power projects and management of power stations up to a new step.
