Sahiwal Power Station Received Pakistan's "Outstanding Achievement Award"
On March 23, Pakistan’s National Day, Pakistani Prime Minister Abbasi signed the “Outstanding Achievement Award” to the Huaneng Sahiwal Power Station.

The Sahiwal coal-fired power station was completed and put into operation in only 22 months and 8 days, becoming the largest green power station in Pakistan with the features of the largest capacity of single unit, the most advanced technology, the best environmental protection index, the fastest construction speed, and the first commissioned green power station in China-Pakistani Economic Corridor. It has created a new record for the construction of China's overseas coal-fired projects and is evaluated by the top Pakistani government as “a miracle in the history of power project construction in Pakistan”.
