Huaneng Group Carrying Out the Activity of “offering warmth and showing loving heart”

For days, Huaneng Group organized the employees of the head office and the units in Beijing to take part in the “offering warmth and showing loving heart” activity in response to the call of the Central Government.

They donated money to the people in disaster-stricken areas and needy people to implement the spirit of the 17th Party Congress with actual deeds, to fulfill the social responsibility and to contribute to the construction of a socialist harmonious society.By November 16, 222516 Yuan of cash and some 600 clothes were received from 1,724 employees. 

According to the plan, the donations will be used for three purposes: 1. To help the boarding students of Huaneng Zhengyi Hope Primary School solve the difficulty in having meals; 2. Assist Aheqi County in Xinjiang, the designated counterparty for poverty alleviation aid of Huaneng, in financing schooling and helping the poor; 3. help the needy people in disaster-stricken areas reconstruct their homes and resume production.
