HANOI, June 16 -- Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong, paid visit to Duyen Hai 2 project site. Mr. Hoang walked into the construction area and asked in detail about the progress, site team, preparation of materials and so forth, and attended a meeting at Duyen Hai Power Center for JVL’s comprehensive reports.
Mr. Hoang praised the CHEC Duyen Hai 2 project team for their orderly site management in the midst of the pandemic, which has been manifested in prominent construction progress. He emphasized that, COD of the Duyen Hai 2 is a critical milestone on the journey to meet Vietnam’s power demands, and that It is necessary that the project team keeps the site running as presented to him. Adjacent environment should be protected in line with the construction. The target is to make this plant a safe and secure, steady and reliable, energy-saving and environment friendly power source. The Ministry will carry out its duties to assist the project team with visa affairs.
