Yu Bing attends the First China-Korea Power Generation Technology Forum

CHD Vice President Yu Bing attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the First China-Korea Power Generation Technology Forum which opened on October 31.

In his speech, Yu Bing extended sincere welcome and heartfelt gratitude to participating delegates from Korean governments and electric utilities and introduced CHD’s current development from 4 parts of “ green development, low-carbon development, technological innovation, global business”. He added that there are space and potential for power enterprises of China and Korea to complement each other, develop new ways for cooperation and coordinate common progress. He called on two sides to use this forum as an opportunity to strengthen exchanges, advance mutual understanding and trust, boost sharing of experience, and discuss practical cooperation for dedicating to deeper energy collaboration between China and Korea.

The forum, under the theme of “ Future Power Generation Technology”, is jointly host by China Huadian Corporation LTD. (CHD) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) under the guidance of Chinese National Energy Administration and Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Two experts from China’s Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute and KEPCO Power Research Institute delivered keynote speeches on “ Outlook for China-Korea Power Generation Technology”, and then six experts from including CHD Production and Technology Department and KEPCO Power Research Institute gave thematic speeches on “Clean Energy Power Generation Technology”, “Low-carbon Power Generation Technology”, “High-efficient Power Generation Technology”, sharing achievements and practices in relevant areas. Five experts including one from CHD Power Research Institute held discussions on “Outlook for Energy Environment and Technological Cooperation” and “China-Korea Technology and Engineering Cooperation Prospects”. More than 70 delegates engaging in power generation technology from Chinese and Korean relevant sectors including policy-making sector, industry, enterprise, research institutes and manufacturing sector attended the forum.
