Guoodian Nanjing Automation Co., LTD has won bidding to supply computer monitoring and direct current system for Argentina’s Santa Cruz province-based CC/LB hydropower plant in another breakthrough for the company in overseas market, following a successful bid to provide Laos Nam Ou hydropower station with computer monitor and control system.
The Santa Cruz CC/LB hydropower station, the world’s southernmost and closest hydropower plant to the Antarctic, is signed under the witness of two heads of state during Chinese President Xi’s state visit to Argentina and remains as the largest cooperation project between China and Argentina. It is also the largest project under construction in Argentina and is closely followed by two peoples and governments, with great significance to domestic power supply and local economic development.
The project’s total installed capacity is 1310MW and its annual average output will be 4.95 TWh, increasing Argentina’s total installed capacity by 6.5 percent.
