Wen Shugang met with Joe Kaeser of Siemens

China Huadian Board Member, President, Deputy Party Leadership Group Secretary Wen Shugang, Vice President Deng Jianling met with Joe Kaeser, President and CEO of Siemens AG, and Lothar Herrmann, President and CEO of Siemens Limited China on March 19, exchanging views on further strengthening cooperation. 

After introducing China Huadian’s current development, President Wen said that China will inevitably depend more on clean energies to address environmental problems including smog; and that Siemens is welcomed to take a part in China Huadian’s efforts to vigorously develop hydropower and gas-fulled power with its advanced technology and maintenance service. He also hoped that two companies will strengthen communication, deepen cooperation for mutual profits and new progress.   

Mr. Joe Kaeser appreciated Huadian’s long-term support and recent progress. He said that two side have built a good partnership through years of collaboration and enjoy bright prospects. He also pledged that Siemens will continue providing Huadian with quality equipment and service to promote Huadian’s sustainable development. He also hoped that two companies will expand cooperation for mutual progress.
