China Huadian CSR index ranked 2nd

On October 30, the “1^st China Social Responsibility Forum and 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility Bluebook Release Conference” was held in Beijing. The forum which has published blue book of corporate social responsibility for 8 consecutive years has the theme “open a new chapter to CSR”this year. The 2016 blue book shows that China Huadian CSR index ranks 2^nd among 300 enterprises( 100 for each kind of state-owned, private, foreign companies) for two years in a row.  

As a major part of the forum, China Huadian published white paper on Greenhouse Gas Emission During 12^th Five-year Period,illustrating its principles, ideas, practices and outcomes. The report shows that China Huadian reduced 0.2 billion tons of CO2 emission through optimizing energy structure and improving energy efficiency. It plans to reduce 128 million tons of carbon emissions and increase the share of clean energy among its total installed capacity by 5 percentage points to 42% compared with that of the 12^th five-year period.
