China Energy Scores Series of Awards for Its Corporate Social Responsibility Efforts

At the recent 2018 Chinese Companies Annual Conference for Sustainable Competitiveness, the release of the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility for Central Enterprises (2018) & Blue Book of Overseas Corporate Social Responsibility for Central Enterprises (2018), and the 2018 Golden Ox Award for Corporate Social Responsibility & 7th CSR Sharing Annual Conference, China Energy took home a 2018 Award for Outstanding Chinese Enterprises with Sustainable Competitiveness and a 2018 Award for Exemplary Companies in Overseas CSR, and five of its excellent CSR cases were selected into the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility for Central Enterprises (2018) and the Blue Book of Overseas Corporate Social Responsibility for Central Enterprises (2018), winning wide recognition and acclaim from superior departments, authoritative agencies, industry experts and society at large.

In the passing year 2018, attaching great importance to fulfilling corporate social responsibility (CSR) based on its strategic system and business characteristics, the energy group worked hard to enrich and improve CSR concepts and management practices with its own features, forcefully promote an integration of CSR in all its business operations and comprehensively build a four-pronged CSR system. Consequently, thanks to concerted efforts from both within and outside the group, a series of results have been achieved, ranking the company among top central SOEs in CSR performance.
