China Energy Inks Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Beijing Jiaotong University

On May 12, China Energy and Beijing Jiaotong University signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. According to the agreement, both parties will give full play to their respective resources and advantages, focus on national strategic needs in transportation and China Energy’s technological innovation strategy for transportation business, and strengthen cooperation in heavy-duty railroad technological innovation, construction of national-level R&D platforms, and transportation personnel training, so as to jointly promote the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements and spearhead technological progress in the industry.

In recent years, China Energy has been working hard to serve as the ballast of energy supply and pioneer in energy revolution, accelerating its pace of building a world-class energy enterprise with global competitiveness. Transportation has been the artery of the integrated industrial chain of the group, occupying an important position with considerable potential for development. Over the years, Beijing Jiaotong University has leveraged its technological advantages in rail transportation and carried out scientific and technological cooperation with China Energy in the fields of autonomous operation of heavy-duty trains, intelligent transportation, health management, and energy conservation and environmental protection, which has achieved fruitful results. It is hoped that both sides will seize the opportunity brought by the strategic cooperation agreement to further strengthen technology R&D, resource sharing and talent training, establish a normalized working mechanism, and jointly make new contributions to the energy revolution and the building of a strong country in transportation.
