China Energy and Shandong Port Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing on June 18. China Energy CEO Liu Guoyue joined Huo Gaoyuan, chairman of Shandong Port Group, to attend the signing ceremony and exchange views on deepening cooperation. Yang Peng, deputy CEO of China Energy, and Cai Zhongtang, executive deputy general manager of Shandong Port Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of each side.
According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation and exchange in areas such as Shandong offshore wind power base, smart energy port building, green low-carbon industry fund, coal transit and logistics transportation, in an effort to explore mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation modes and create a model of cooperation between central SOEs and local governments.
