Special Meeting Convened to Discuss Support for Revitalizing Epidemic-hit Hubei

On May 26, China Energy held a special meeting on post-epidemic revitalization of Hubei, at which attendees discussed a package of measures to support economic and social development of the central China province.

As a centrally-administered enterprise, China Energy decided to take following measures: first, focus on its main business and play an active role in ensuring stable supply of energy at reasonable prices in Hubei; second, actively fulfill the strategic cooperation agreements with Hubei and promote smooth implementation of investment projects in the province; third, strengthen cooperation with Hubei-based enterprises, universities and research institutes and increase procurement for engineering, material and service projects; fourth, execute efficient operation of the company’s assets in Hubei and ensure stable employment opportunities; fifth, promote the development of new energy and emerging sectors in Hubei and help boost smart urban construction in the province; and sixth, accelerate research and formulation of specific measures to fully support the economic and social development of the provincial capital Wuhan.
