China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) has recently received a letter of appreciation from a county in Gansu Province for its longstanding contributions to poverty alleviation in the area via its alternative energy arm, China Three Gorges Renewables (CTGR).
The solar power station by CTGR for poverty alleviation in Qingshui County, a project in its 13th Five-Year Plan, was one of the major projects in Tianshui City last year.
The average annual revenue of the power station stands at 33.17 million yuan, providing long-term stable income growth to the 8,849 poverty-stricken households in the county.
