China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) announced that its philanthropic arm CTG Foundation has recently co-organized an aid project on cochlear implant with Wushan Disabled Persons' Federation in Chongqing, providing cochlear implants for 50 deaf persons in Wushan County.
Following one month of postoperative recovery, the hearing-impaired patients entered the cochlear power-up process, and gained an initial auditory experience. Based on their auditory feelings, they will later undergo tailored rehabilitation training for optimal outcomes. There will also be multiple device adjustments to gradually help them complete hearing reconstruction.
