China International Water & Electric Corp. (CWE), a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), in partnership with Beijing MW Foundation, held a completion ceremony for the Park NguaLycee School revamp project in Nam Lik, Laos on February 19.
The event, also coincided with the unveiling of Mei Lan Library, a major public welfare project held by the two partners, was attended by over 100 teachers and students of the school as well as local villagers.
The campus revamp project, which was completed by CWE’s Nam Lik subsidiary, included the renovation of the school’s facilities and refurbishment of the main road on campus, among other initiatives.
Guests from China and Laos also unveiled the Mei Lan Library, comprising a collaboration-themed reading room to be jointly built by Beijing MW Foundation and Park NguaLycee School.
