Unit 3 of Ningde NPP and Unit 3 of Hongyanhe NPP were connected to the grid respectively on March 21 and 23, together with Unit 2 of Yangjiang NPP that connected to grid on March 10, there were 3 units successfully connected to the grid and began power generation in the first 3 months of 2015. So far, CGN possessed 14 power generation capable nuclear units with a total installed capacity of 14918 MWe.
According to schedule, a series of performance tests and regular minor overhauls and then 168-hour full load trial running would be carried out later. When all performance indicators meet the design standards, the units are in stable state and grid requirements are satisfied, the units could be put into commercial operation.
