Unit 4 of Hongyanhe NPP Reached the Critical State for the First Time

At 10:43 of March 5, Unit 4 of Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant reached the critical state for the first time, which marks that Unit 4 has officially entered the running state with power and ithas taken another step to the goal of production and power generation.

Unit 4 of Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant was fueled on January 18 of the year. 太The National Nuclear Safety Administration conducted a special inspection on its  preparations before the first critical state on February 25 and confirmed that this unit is available for critical. After the first critical state, Unit 4 will conduct zero-power physical tests to verify core performance, the availability of nuclear instrumentation monitoring system and equipment and the correctness of core loading.
