China Energy Releases CE?CE CSR System

The 2022 Spring Summit of the ESG China Forum, co-sponsored by the ESG Commission of China Social Responsibility 100 Forum and China Energy and co-organized by Dagong CSR Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. and China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd., was held in Beijing on April 24. Representatives from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), centrally administered state-owned enterprises, listed centrally administered companies, industry associations, and the media attended the event both online and offline. At the summit, China Energy Investment Corproation unveiled the CE•CE (CHN Energy & CSR Energy) corporate social responsibility (CSR) system.

China Energy ardently implements policy guidelines on CSR fulfillment and actively responds to the requirement of the capital market, regulatory authorities, and rating institutions for corporate information disclosure. With “shouldering the responsibility to empower the country’s energy industry” as its mission, it has advanced CSR thinking, management, practice and exploration while deeply integrating the effort into the goal of building a world-class demonstration enterprise. By so doing, it has formed a comprehensive CSR system. The summit also released the CSR & ESG Digital Platform, Dagong CRS Cloud ESG Index for Listed Companies, and ESG indexes for the coal, power, dairy, and alcohol industries, and held a roundtable meeting.
