On May 20th , No.9 unit, the last million-kilowatt unit of Baihetan Hydropower Station, installed and debugged by Energy China’s China Gezhouba Group, has successfully entered the commissioning stage.
This marks the completion of the installation of all 16 million-kilowatts units in Baihetan Hydropower Station, which will be soon fully put into commercial operation.
Baihetan Hydropower Station is the world's largest hydropower project under construction, with the highest technical difficulty as well. Its largest megawatt hydropower unit, 50 meters in height and 8,000 tonnes in weight, is known as the "Everest" in the hydropower industry.
