Chairman Zou Lei Attends Opening Ceremony of 19th China-ASEAN Expo

The 19th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS), themed "Sharing RCEP New Opportunities, Building a Version 3.0 China-ASEAN FTA", was held in Nanning, China, from September 16 to 17, 2022. Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.

Chairman Zou Lei and vice president Peng Yong of China Datang Corporation Ltd. (China Datang) attended the opening ceremony upon invitation.

China Datang set up an exhibition booth at the CAEXPO under the theme "Provide Clean Energy To Light Up A Better Life", where it fully showcased its distinctive practices and achievements in such fields as clean energy, smart logistics, international business, and rural revitalization. The exhibits have further manifested China Datang's sense of responsibility and mission, and brought visitors closer to the unremitting efforts the conglomerate has made to grow into a world-class energy supplier characterized by green and low-carbon development, energy diversification, efficient coordination, and digital and smart technologies-empowered operations.

During his visit to the exhibition booth following the opening ceremony, Zou stressed taking full advantage of the expo to constantly enlarge China Datang's "circle of friends" for cooperation and  strengthen resource connectivity and cooperation with partners. China Datang should actively explore the energy market of Southeast Asia, promote in-depth integration of the industrial, supply, and value chains of the energy industry, and strive to rank among the world's top energy suppliers and become a leading enterprise playing an important role in the ecological civilization construction in China, he noted.
