The Longhu 70MW photovoltaic power project in Ding’an County, Hainan Province, began operation and connected to the grid.

The project, located in Longhu Town, Ding’an County, Hainan Province, has a planned area of 90.67 hectares and mainly consists of a photovoltaic power zone, collecting power lines, a 110KV booster station, and a power transmission line project. It has a total installed capacity of 70MW. Within its planned operation period of 25 years, it will provide electricity of 2,762,830,000 kWh to the grid, with an average of 110,510,000 kWh each year. When completed, all electricity generated by the project will be transmitted to the grid. It is estimated that the project will generate electricity of 110,513,300 kWh, save 34,300 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 94,800 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 2,900 tons and soot emissions by 25,900 tons per year, thus creating remarkable economic, environmental and social benefits.
