Zhuhai Port Set a New Record in Monthly Arrival Unloading Volume Per Berth

As of January 31, CHN Energy Zhuhai Port’s arrivals amounted to 1,383,000 tons, equal to 101.7% of the planned volume, achieving a good start in the first month of 2023. Its unloading volume per berth reached 1,309,000 tons, hitting a record high since the port was put into operation.

Since the start of January this year, Zhuhai Port has attached utmost importance to workplace safety, kept in mind the red line and the bottom line, and focused on ensuring safe operations and advancing project construction. It has taken active actions to build a digital loading and unloading standard system, overcome the impact of equipment installation and debugging on the operations of single berths, and optimize operational workflows according to the schedules of arrival vessels. Through constantly increasing the operational efficiency and maximally unleashing production potentials, it ensured that the entire operational process is efficient and orderly. Moreover, it dispatched personnel to conduct surveys in inland areas such as the Pearl River Delta and northern and western parts of Guangdong Province, and worked out targeted service plans for clients based on their actual needs. In addition, Zhuhai Port has strengthened coordination and collaboration with coal companies and shipping companies to implement production plans in a rational and efficient manner and accomplish the mission to ensure energy supply at a high standard.
