Zhuhai Gaolan Port Area Bulk Cargo Terminal Listed as a Key Project

the People's Government of Guangdong Province unveiled the 2023 Plan for Key Construction Projects of Guangdong Province, and CHN Energy’s bulk cargo terminal project in Zhuhai Gaolan Port Areat was included in the plan, laying the foundation for Zhuhai Port to further integrate and align with the major development strategies of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and ensure energy security and supply.

The terminal of the Zhuhai national emergency coal reserve base project (Phase-I)

The project plans to build one 100,000-ton unloading berth (the structure of which is designed to berth 150,000-ton bulk carriers) and two 5,000-ton loading berths on the basis of the first phase of the existing Zhuhai national emergency coal reserve base, with an additional designed annual throughput capacity of 17.5 million tons and a total of 582 meters of port shoreline. After the completion of the project, the number of berths in Zhuhai Port will reach 10, with a designed total annual throughput capacity of 68.3 million tons and a total length of 1,890 meters of port shoreline.
